Amal Sanderatne (CFA) is the founder of Frontier Research. He started his research career at Jardine Fleming HNB Securities Sri Lanka as an Economist, rising to the position of Head of Research. Following the takeover of Jardine Fleming by JP Morgan Chase he was subsequently transferred to Singapore where he led Asia Pacific ADR research for JP Morgan and also managed the research of Hong Kong based Access Products Group.

On his return to Sri Lanka, Amal was the Senior Transaction Advisor for DFCC Bank for the Sri Lanka Telecom IPO in 2002 before founding Frontier Research in 2003.

A team of around six Research Associates supports Amal in providing advice to the clients of Frontier at any given time.
